Scope and Contents
Group photograph of some of the delegates from the Second Quebec Conference (all sitting, apart from WSC) on the terrace of the Citadel, Quebec [Canada] after the degree ceremony [this took place at the conference, as WSC and Roosevelt were too busy to attend the official event]. They are all dressed in academic robes and caps, including (from left to right): WSC, standing up with a scroll in his hand and the other hand on his belly; then Franklin Roosevelt, also holding a scroll; then 1st Lord Athlone, Governor-General of Canada, smiling slightly with his hands in his lap; two unidentified figures in academic dress [probably Morris W. Wilson, Chancellor of McGill University and a colleague]; CSC, looking to the left, at WSC; [William] Mackenzie King, Prime Minister of Canada, also looking at WSC.
