"Polling Day, 14 November: leaving the Committee Rooms at Roydon for a final tour of the constituency", 1935-11-14
Scope and Contents
Full length photograph of WSC, during the General Election campaign in Essex. He is walking through a gate away from the committee rooms in Roydon [or possibly Epping] with a cigar in his mouth, adjusting his overcoat and looking almost directly at the camera, and is also wearing a homburg-type hat and gloves. There are several election posters on the fence in front of the building, and CSC (out of focus) is standing in the doorway in the background, wearing a fur coat.
