Foreign Policy: WSC highlights Britain’s defensive needs (especially the RAF), in the face of German re-armament; WSC reveals fears over isolation due to British foreign policy as Germany threatens Czechoslovakia [later Czech Republic and Slovakia], and describes the Munich agreement as ‘a failure’; WSC appeals to the United States to ‘stand against dictators’; Hitler accuses WSC of ‘warmongering’, as Britain re-arms.
