Includes some original correspondence between Leo Amery, Sir Lewis Richardson, Geoffrey Dawson [earlier Geoffrey Robinson], Walter Carey, Bishop of Bloemfontein and Jan Smuts, on South African affairs, including a suggested visit to South Africa by King George V, 1929-30 and an entente between the Dutch and British in Bloemfontein, 1929.
