Scope and Contents
Correspondence and papers from the council (of which JA was president), particularly correspondence with Louis FitzGibbon (council secretary) on general council business and other subjects including human rights violations by Ethiopia and famine. Other correspondents include: 10th Lord Bessborough; Lord Grimond; 4th Lord Avebury [earlier Eric Lubbock]; John Home Robertson. Also includes accounts by 7th Lord Ailsa of visits to Ethiopia and Somalia, 1983.
