Papers on the negotiations for a political settlement, including: opening statements and other papers from the Lancaster House Conference; memoranda on the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU PF)'s election manifesto and breaches of the cease-fire; report of a fact-finding mission by the American-African Affairs Association; notes on the Lusaka Conference [Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, Lusaka, Zambia, Aug 1979]; copy of the Commonwealth Secretariat's analysis of the constitution for Zimbabwe Rhodesia.
Also includes: memorandum by the Salisbury Group on the Conservatives' first year in office; constituency brief on pay bargaining.
