Working papers on economics, covering subjects such as personal income distribution; public opinion on salaries in different professions; living standards; class, money, and social status; taxation and death duties; and market forecasting. Consists largely of press cuttings, articles, and survey data, with Mark Abrams's notes. Including copies of Mark Abrams's articles "The Changed Patterns of Personal Incomes" (1955) and "The New Consumer" (1958), and drafts for article(s) on social and economic change. Also includes draft public opinion surveys on inflation prepared by Research Services Ltd. for the University of Edinburgh (1966) and correspondence to Abrams from the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex.
