Biographical / Historical

The British Zone Review was a publication that reported on activities in the "British Zone": the area of Germany occupied and governed by the British Control Commission for Germany (CCG) following the end of the Second World War. The British Zone lasted between 1945 and 1949.

The British Zone Review was published for exactly four years, beginning on 20 September 1945 and ending on 20 September 1949. The Review was initially published fortnightly, but after mid-1947, the publications became less frequent and more irregular.
