Correspondents include: 1st Lord Snowdon [earlier Antony Armstrong-Jones]; Batuk Gathani, President of the Indian Journalists' Association (Europe) inviting AFB to an event; Elsie Elliott [earlier Elsie Tu], member of the Urban Council of Hong Kong] enclosing her letter to the press on the mass arrests of children from the boat people community in Hong Kong after public demonstrations; Lord Noel-Baker [earlier Philip Baker] congratulating AFB on his speech in a House of Lords debate, February 1979; Sir Leckraz Teelock, High Commissioner for Mauritius, asking AFB to send a message on the 11th anniversary of Mauritian independence; Jack Dromey, Secretary of Brent Trades Council, thanking AFB for speaking at a concert in Brent [London] against racism; Dorothy Detzer Denny on subjects including her view of the chaotic British labour movement and twentieth century social revolutions in Britain (the class system) and the United States (over race); Richard Balfe, Political Secretary of the Royal Arsenal Co-Operative Society Limited, asking AFB to sign a copy of ["Towards Tomorrow"] for Don McGregor; [John] Jeremy Thorpe, thanking AFB for his message of support.
