Scope and Contents
Papers mainly relating to the Donaldson Committee and the enquiry into the age of majority for enlistment in the armed services. Includes: report of the Committee on the Age of Majority, 1967; a National Council of Civil Liberties paper on civil liberties and service recruitment, 1970; report of the Donaldson Committee on boy entrants and young servicemen, 1970; copy of Hansard with a statement on the release of the Donald Committee report; draft of a note by Kenneth Young and cutting of an article by Lord Chalfont on the report; prints of two articles by AFB on "Religion and Humanism" and "The Challenge to Humanism", 1972-73.
Noted on the original file cover that the papers were to be kept for use in AFB's autobiography.
