Correspondence on AFB's plan for a new journal on the development of democracy. Correspondents (mainly regretting that they were too busy to join the Editorial Advisory Committee) include: Lancelot Hogben; [John] J B Priestley (2); 1st Lord Lindsay of Birker; Harold Nicolson; George Gooch; Sir [Ralph] Norman Angell.
Also includes two proof copies of the first number of the journal.
