Scope and Contents
Later correspondence relating to Hyderabad’s case before the United Nations for independent statehood from India. Correspondents include Nawab Moin Nawaz Jung, Hyderabad Minister for Finance and External Affairs, Professor Clyde Eagleton, New York University, on acting as Moin Nawaz's adviser before the Security Council and Zahir Ahmed, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Also includes a print of the Hyderabad Government's paper on their relations with the Dominion of India and the report of the Indian States Committee, 1928-29.
Other correspondents include Sir Alexander Carr-Saunders, Director of the London School of Economics, asking HL to teach Public International Law at LSE, and David Hughes Parry on Elihu Lauterpacht having a part-time lectureship there.
