Scope and Contents
Copy of HL's Opinion on the interpretation of Article 18 of the Mandate for Palestine and on the question of the participation of Palestine in Imperial Preference. Includes accompanying correspondence, mainly with representatives of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, particularly Moshe Shertok [later Moshe Sharett], and a note of an interview between Shertok and Sir John Shuckburgh [Deputy Under-Secretary of State, Colonial Office].
