Scope and Contents
Modern copies of correspondence about the publication of "An International Bill of the Rights of Man", mainly between HL, representatives of the American Jewish Committee and of Columbia University Press, and Dr Kamal Das [United Nations Human Rights Division]. Also includes: copies of reviews; drafts of the bill; a preliminary report by HL for the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, 1948; some later correspondence from when Sir Elihu Lauterpacht was assembling the copies, 2003-06.
