Manuscript, typescript and galley proofs of Chapter 11 "Advance in Burma", and Chapter 12, with drafts titled "Burma and the Pacific" and "The Defeat of Japan at Sea", annotated with suggested amendments and corrections by various people including WSC, Denis Kelly, Charles Wood, Commodore [George] Gordon Allen and Lt-General Sir Henry Pownall File also includes complete narrative of events in the Far Eastern Theatre, June 1944 - Aug 1945, compiled by Commodore Allen and General Pownall; letter from Commodore Allen on account of the Battle of Leyte Gulf, copies of maps of Western Europe, Burma [later Myanmar], the Battle of Leyte Gulf and the Pacific Theatre for Volume 6, with covering letter from John Robinson, Art Editor of Cassell & Co., and a note by Commodore Allen.
