Typescript and galley proofs of Chapter 43 "My third visit to Washington" (provisionally entitled "My Third Visit to the White House") annotated with suggested amendments and corrections by various people including Denis Kelly, William Deakin, WSC, Charles Wood, 1st Lord Ismay, Sir Edward Marsh, Emery Reves [earlier Imre Revesz], Sir Norman Brook [later 1st Lord Normanbrook, Secretary to the Cabinet] and Lieutenant-General Sir Henry Pownall.Some source material also present in the file including: outline notes for the chapter by WSC; notes from Pownall with details and maps of operation 'Torch' [Torch' was the codename of the Allied invasion of North West Africa]; notes from Ismay on the conference; and galley proofs of telegrams.
