Typescript and galley proofs of Chapter 41 "Russia and the Western Allies" annotated with suggested amendments and corrections by various people including Denis Kelly, William Deakin, WSC, Charles Wood, Emery Reves [earlier Imre Revesz] and 1st Lord Ismay.Some source material also present including a file on the massacre of Polish officers and troops in Katyn [Soviet Union] which includes: a copy of a despatch from Sir Owen O'Malley (dating to February 1944) then British Ambassador to Poland, an extract from the Soviet War News, and papers on the American Committee for the Investigation of the Katyn massacre.Most of the material in the file dates to 1950.
