Scope and Contents
Includes typescript and galley proofs of sections of Volume 3 of "The Second World War" which were serialised in the Daily Telegraph and Life Magazine. Also includes correspondence from various individuals including: Denis Kelly regarding the publication of a section relating to the warning given by Sir Stafford Cripps [then British Ambassador to the Soviet Union] to Marshal Stalin; Oliver Lyttelton [later 1st Lord Chandos] requesting that a reference to him be re-phrased; and Monica Horne (5) and "Gottfried" (9) of Time Life Magazine.
