June"; Chapter 9 "The French Agony"; Chapter 10 "The Bordeaux Armistice"; Chapter 11 "Admiral [Jean] Darlan and the French Fleet. Oran" [Algeria]; Chapter 12 "The Apparatus of Counter-Attack. 1940"; Chapter 13 "At Bay" (provisionally entitled "Alone"); Chapter 14 "The Invasion Problem"; Chapter 15 "Operation Sea Lion". The proofs are annotated with suggested amendments and corrections by various individuals including: WSC, William Deakin, Denis Kelly, Charles Wood, Lieutenant- General Sir Henry Pownall and Chips Gemmell, WSC's secretary.
