Copies and originals of correspondence 1900 - 1948 between WSC and Charles Crisp, second Conservative candidate for Oldham [Lancashire], on subjects including WSC becoming MP for Oldham, Crisp standing for the Carlton Club, constituency business, shares held by Crisp for WSC, Crisp finding a different candidacy, Crisp standing again for Oldham, and Crisp trying to quote from or sell WSC's letters.Other correspondents include: Joseph Chamberlain on Crisp finding a new candidacy (2).
