Also includes notes and copies of correspondence from secretaries Jo Sturdee ("N S") [later Lady Onslow], Chips Gemmell, and Jane Portal [later Lady Williams of Elvel].Subjects include: aircraft carriers; anti-submarine warfare, including details of the Lockheed Neptune "sub-killer"; amphibious landings.Also includes: details of carriers and army manpower; photographs of the Neptune; copy of a memorandum from Harvey on the RAF and defence policy and the Research Department's comments on it; copy of Hansard (27 March 1950); cutting on the Fairey 17 and Blackburn YA5 [anti-submarine aircraft].
