Also includes notes and copies of correspondence from: secretaries Jo Sturdee ("N S") [later Lady Onslow], Christine Taylor, Elizabeth Gilliatt, Lettice Marston [later Lettice Shillingford], and Penelope Wall; CSC; and from WSC to some of those mentioned above and Speaker of the House of Commons [Douglas Clifton Brown, later 1st Lord Ruffside].Other subjects include: WSC's speech for the Albert Hall [London] (12 June 1948); nationalised industries.Also includes: drafts of 1946 message from WSC for the Young Conservative magazine; planned programme for Albert Hall rally.
