Letter from WSC (41 Cromwell Road [London]) to "Jack" [John S Churchill] in which he discusses the possibility that he may be offered [the position of Minister of] Munitions; comments that the press are "amazingly vicious" and that he hopes that the publication of the Dardanelles papers will alter this; discusses the death of "K" [1st Lord Kitchener] and efforts to secure a position for [Sir William] Birdwood in command of the Australian army.
