Letter from WSC (4th Hussars, India) to "Jack" [John S Churchill] in which he discusses the publication of ["The Malakand Field Force"] by Longmans; comments on the stupidity of the songs in a play [performed at Blenheim Palace]; comments on a reconnaissance mission he is to accompany and a polo tournament; and expresses regret that the son of Madame de Jancourt is unlikely to visit him in India.
