Letter from Edward Marsh [Private Secretary to WSC] (Admiralty, Whitehall [London]) marked "private" to Cox and Company informing them that WSC intends to travel to Dunkirk [France] by sea and asking whether an extra premium [on WC's life assurance policy] will be payable. Manuscript. Annotated with a note that the Phoenix Assurance Company would cover WSC provided he informed them "when in his opinion he had gone out of the terms of the policy".
