Letter from Mary [Lady] Minto (Minto House, Hawick [Roxburghshire, Scotland]) to Jennie [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which she thanks her for praising her article; discusses her plans to go to Canada; expresses sympathy at the news of George [Cornwallis West's] illness; comments on the poor treatment which "Rolly" [?Gilbert, 4th Lord Minto] has received despite his work for the Empire, in Canada and South Africa, and suggests that [Lady Randolph] might mention his case to King [Edward VII].
