Scope and Contents
Notes for a syllabus for WSC's proposed aviation conference [prepared by Lord Northcliffe, earlier Sir Alfred Harmsworth] which includes the following suggestions: that information about developments in aviation and statistics about the safety and reliability of air transport should be circulated to delegates prior to the conference and that discussions should include the promotion of the use of air transport to the public, the factors which affect aircraft speed, the future of aircraft design, night flying, pilot training, business use of aircraft, transport of mail, law, the development of flight paths across oceans, meteorology, wireless communications, and aerodynamics.
