Letter from Jennie [Jerome, later Lady Randolph Churchill]([Paris, France]) to [Lord] Randolph [Churchill] including: thanks for his letter; the pain of being separated from him which makes her feel "the way an old woman of 80 feels"; "Papa's" [Leonard Jerome's] visit to the theatre to see "La jolie parfumeuse"; anxiety at her father's decision to travel to the United States in winter; the attitude of her mother [Clara Jerome] towards Randolph; his displeasure with [Lord] Bowmont [later 7th Duke of Roxburghe]; an objection to his complaints about the boredom of his life and comparison with hers; information about Baron Christian de Waldner and Sartoris and defence of her decision to skate with other men. Envelope present.
