Letter from Jeannette Jerome [later Lady Randolph Churchill]([Paris, France]) to [Lord Randolph Churchill] in which she says that she is delighted that she will see him soon; says that her anxiety [about their engagement] has prevented her doing anything and has made her lose weight; discusses [John, 7th Duke of Marlborough's] and [Clara Jerome's] opinion that they should wait before marrying; instructs him to reply to her mother's [Clara Jerome's] letter as her mother does not believe what he has said about his father; and sympathises on the death of the pug.
