Letter from [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales](Marlborough House [London]) to [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he thanks her for her letter; says that he is sorry that she had a difficult journey to Cape [Town, South Africa]; congratulates her on her courageous work with the hospital ship [Maine]; comments on her disappointment at not seeing [George Cornwallis West] and mentions meeting him; comments on the management of the Imperial Yeomanry Hospital and the splendid work done by Lady Georgiana Curzon [later Georgiana, Lady Howe]; and says that he hopes that she has seen WSC and "Jack" [John S Churchill]. Envelope present.
