Letter from Sir Walter Hely- Hutchinson [Governor of Natal and Zululand](Government House, Natal) to Mrs West [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he thanks her for sending him a copy of [the Anglo Saxon Review]; discusses the people he has entertained who include [1st] Lord Roberts and [Sir Redvers] Buller; says that he hopes that the news that WSC has been elected at Oldham [Lancashire] is reliable; and comments that [1st] Lord Roberts has forbidden women to go to Johannesburg [South Africa] although some have defied him.
