Copy of a letter from [Lady Randolph Churchill](35A Great Cumberland Place [London]) to [Alexandra, Princess of Wales, later Queen Alexandra] discussing an offer by the manager of the Olympia [theatre], Edward Cleary, to give the proceeds of a performance to the hospital ship Maine. She proposes that the sum should be divided between the Maine and [Princess Alexandra's] ship and asks whether members of the Royal Family would be prepared to attend the performance. Manuscript in the hand of a secretary.
