Letter from Marie [Duchess of Edinburgh] (Eastwell [Kent]) to Lady Randolph [Churchill] in which she apologises for not replying to her note; says that she is glad that Lady Randolph enjoyed her stay at Eastwell; invites her, Lord Randolph [Churchill] and WSC to stay, commenting that WSC would be a good companion for [Prince Alfred of Edinburgh]; observes that the Duke [of Edinburgh] is an "exemplary Papa" to his children; says that she is expecting Princess Louise and comments on a gift of flowers.
