Letter from WSC (Ashby St Ledgers, Rugby [Warwickshire]) to "Mamma" [Lady Randolph Churchill] including: the progress of [his biography of Lord Randolph Churchill] which is nearly finished; his stay in Switzerland; polo; his support for [Lord] Curzon [later Lord Curzon of Kedleston] against [Sir Herbert] Kitchener and "for Constitutional Authority against military power"; Liberal Party policy on India; comments on the appointments of [4th Lord] Minto and [Sir John] Brodrick. Manuscript in the hand of a secretary signed by WSC.
