Letter from WSC (105 Mount Street [London]) to "Mamma" [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he thanks her for a picture; reports that he has earnt o220 through delivering lectures, intends to play polo and that he has lost the names [of those who helped him to escape from the Boers] who are to receive watches; gives details of his future lectures; describes the dissatisfaction in the [Conservative] Party and "Joe's" [Joseph Chamberlain] concentration on relations with the Boers.
