Scope and Contents

Letter from WSC (Camp, Inayat Kila [West Pakistan, now Pakistan]) to "Mamma" [Lady Randolph Churchill] enclosing two letters [not present] to the Daily Telegraph, describing the fighting which he experienced, his proximity to death, the retreat during which the wounded were abandoned and reporting that Sir Bindon [Blood] has made him his orderly officer. He also comments on own bravery "I play for high stakes and given an audience- there is no act too daring, or too noble. Without the gallery - things are different" and discusses his novel ["Savrola"] Pencil.
