Letter from WSC (4th Hussars, Bangalore [India]) to "Mamma" [Lady Randolph Churchill] including: the likelihood that he will be allowed to accompany Sir Bindon Blood to Malakand [West Pakistan], military preparations and his disappointment that he will not be able to participate in the fighting, regret at forgetting to bring "Peas" [a dog] with him, his friendship with [Reginald] Barnes, Hugo [Baring's] financial difficulties, and a good reception given to one of his speeches.
