Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill (50 Grosvenor Square [London]) to [Lady Randolph Churchill] asking her when she will return and informing her that he has written a letter [see CHAR 1/2/78] to WSC having heard of WSC's ill treatment of the watch which Lord Randolph had given him and has informed him that "Jack" [John S Churchill] is his superior in "all qualities of steadiness". He also discusses the marriage of Princess Alice to the Caesarwitch [later Emperor Nicholas II of Russia] and a dinner with [Henry Dupre] Labouchere.
