Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill ([France] on the notepaper of 2 Connaught Place) to [Lady Randolph Churchill] thanking her for her letter and including: his worry at her illness which has made him ill; concern that she should not tire herself by writing to him; his intention to meet her at Marseilles [France]; a meeting with [John] Gorst at Menton [France]; Lord Randolph's intention to avoid a meeting in Birmingham and lack of interest in politics; financial difficulties and his relief that "Winnie" [WSC] has recovered.
