Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill (Carlton Club [London]) to Jennie [Jerome, later Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he expresses amusement at newspaper cuttings she has sent him; describes a division against "a horrible extreme radical", Sir Charles Dilke; discusses his hope to discover [Leonard Jerome's] wishes regarding a settlement for them and desire to buy a house in Charles Street, Berkeley Square [London]; his hope that [Lord] Bowmont [later 7th Duke of Roxburghe] will declare his intention [to marry Lady Anne Churchill, later Lady Bowmont and Duchess of Roxburghe].
