Scope and Contents
Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill (10 St James' Square [London]) to [Jennie Jerome, later Lady Randolph Churchill] describing various wedding presents, and warning her not to flirt with [Lord] Blandford [later George, 8th Duke of Marlborough]. He mentions his concern that [Lord] Bowmont [later 7th Duke of Roxburghe] is making Annie [Lady Anne Churchill, later Lady Bowmont and Duchess of Roxburghe] "vy much talked about" and reports that he has been accepted by White's Club and the Carlton Club.
