Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill (Blenheim Palace) to Jennie [Jerome, later Lady Randolph Churchill] hoping that a ring he has sent her has arrived safely; and suggesting that she should buy him a box in which to store letters. He asks that she should inform him about the "Bazaine trial" and discusses the likelihood that the Solicitor General will be dismissed for bribery and the uncertain state of affairs in Paris [France].
