Series of minutes [from 1st Lord Cherwell, earlier F A Lindemann, Prime Minister's Personal Assistant] to WSC on: 1. a joint purchase by the United Kingdom and the United States of rubber for the Soviet Union; 2. aircraft production; 3. rubber for the Soviet Union; 4. attaching a draft minute to the Minister of Supply [1st Lord Beaverbrook, earlier Sir Max Aitken] on filling Jefferis bombs ("Puff Balls") at the expense of "Sticky" bombs; 5. attaching a draft minute to General [Hastings] Ismay [Chief of Staff to the Minister of Defence] on setting up "Bombard" batteries and sending bombs to the Middle East; 6. and 7. Dr [Alwyn] Crow's [Director and Controller of Projectile Development] and Colonel [Millis] Jefferis' establishments; 8. shipping woollen cloth to the Soviet Union, with WSC's annotation in typescript.
