Telegram from WSC to President Harry Truman marked "Personal and Top Secret" agreeing to join with Truman in accepting "the best that [Harry] Hopkins [Special Adviser and Assistant to the President of the United States] can get" over Poland, but warning against "newspaper assumptions" that the Polish problem has been solved; discussing dates for the meeting [between Marshal Stalin, Truman and WSC], explaining that Clement Attlee [Leader of the Labour Party] will have to come with him; and expressing his misgivings over Soviet power in Europe.
