Note from John Colville [Prime Minister's Private Secretary] to WSC informing him that the King [George VI] has sent him 4 pheasants and 2 hares from Sandringham [Norfolk] and asking whether WSC wants the Master of the Household to be thanked or whether he will thank the King personally. [Typescript] With annotation by WSC in red ink indicating that he would like a letter to be sent to the Master of the Household.
