Letter from Mary, Duchess of Marlborough (Blenheim Palace [Oxfordshire]) to [? WSC or Private Secretary] thanking him for arranging to send a letter to her husband [10th Duke of Marlborough] as "The ordinary post is getting slower and slower!!" and stating that she has been bold enough to put a letter in for her daughter, and asking that this be returned to her office if there is any difficulty. With annotation of 26 Mar by ? Charles Barker [Prime Minister's Private Secretary] confirming that the second letter was returned to the Duchess.
