Information received from the headquarters of Field Marshal Sir Harold Alexander [Supreme Allied Commander in the Mediterranean] giving details of the death of Colonel John Macnamara [Conservative MP for Chelmsford] who was killed by enemy mortar fire during a visit to a forward platoon, and buried at the British Military Cemetery, Forli [Italy].
