(Untitled), 24 May 1945
Scope and Contents
Letter from Lord Robert Innes-Ker (Croft Hall Hotel, Croft Hall, Torquay [Devon]) to WSC enclosing a letter he has received from the Foreign Office [see CHAR 20/197B/225] and asking WSC to help him further his claim to a Consulship or Vice-Consulship in the south of France or North Africa. He comments on his official duties during the war, and expresses preference for Cannes [France], Nice [France], Monte Carlo or Mentone [France] as "after many years in charge of the Social Bureaux of The Times would be of great help to me in my work". He ends by congratulating WSC on his leadership.
