Letter from Colonel Hugh Higgon (Lord Lieutenant of Pembrokeshire) (Cuffern, Roch, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire [Wales]) to Anthony Bevir [Prime Minister's Private Secretary] marked "confidential" asking him to lay the enclosed letter before WSC [see CHAR 20/197B/184] and explaining that "this seems a trivial matter bout the U-Boat but it will give a great lever to the opponents of the Govt who will immediately say it shows what the Admiralty thinks... of Milford Haven".
