Letter from Captain David Gammans [Conservative MP for Hornsey] to Brigadier George Harvie Watt [Prime Minister's Parliamentary Private Secretary] informing him that he has just returned from an international conference at Hot Springs, Virginia [United States] and that, at the suggestion of Lord Halifax [earlier Edward Wood, then Lord Irwin, British Ambassador to the United States] he has put on paper some notes of his impressions of the United States [see CHAR 20/197A/108-110].
